Puppy Boot Camp

Want to give your puppy a head start before coming home? Our Puppy Boot Camp is available exclusively for Jewell Kennels puppies beginning at 8 weeks of age. Your puppy will remain with us and live as part of our household while we begin building the routines and skills that make the transition to your home easier.

Training will focus on age-appropriate foundations, including:

• Beginning potty training and establishing a consistent daily schedule

• Crate training and learning to settle comfortably in a crate

• Introduction to basic commands such as sit and come

• Beginning to understand “no” and appropriate boundaries

• Leash and collar introduction

• Handling for grooming, paws, ears, and everyday care

• Continued socialization and exposure to normal household sights, sounds, and routines

• Practicing appropriate puppy manners and learning to settle in the home

Because puppies are still very young, our goal is not to send home a fully trained puppy, but to provide a strong foundation and consistent routine that you can continue once your puppy joins your family.

Boot Camp may be added in weekly increments, allowing families to choose the amount of additional training that works best for them.

$500 per week

Space is limited so that we can provide each puppy with plenty of individual attention, consistency, and time in our home.
